Let's Make a Difference Together - The Arc Seeks New Winter Apparel for the HAP Program

November 1st, 2016

Throughout the month of November, The Arc of Essex County will collect new (with tags) winter apparel for low income children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.  Please consider donating new winter coats, hats, gloves, scarves, or blankets.  Sizes needed include children's 5T through adult 3XL.

Collected items will go to The Arc of Essex County's Home Assistance Program (HAP) families.  The HAP program provides services to families whose child and/or parent has an intellectual or developmental disability and are low income.  This program provides supports in the areas of transportation, community resources, housing, navigating school systems, recreation, and, at times, skill trainings. The goal is to assist parents and families in becoming more self-sufficient, economically and personally, to maintain the family unit, and to attain independence.

Items may be dropped off Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. at The Arc of Essex County's Main Office at 123 Naylon Avenue, Livingston, NJ 07039.  Thank you for helping us warm up the holidays.
