It is with great sadness that The Arc of Essex County announces the passing of David Owen.  He was exceptionally well known and loved throughout our Arc community. The Belleville group home is truly a family and would refer to one another as brothers. David and his housemates enjoyed many different group activities and were especially talented at the yearly pumpkin carving contest. David also loved his family and would spend as much time with them as he could. The West Caldwell Day Program we know will not be the same without David’s infectious personality and smile. Anyone who met David could attest to the joy he brought others. He will be deeply missed by everyone at the Arc and everyone who knew and loved him.
