Camp Hope Celebrates 65th Anniversary with Day of Giving Success

June 3rd, 2021

To commemorate Camp Hope’s 65th anniversary, The Arc of Essex County hosted a Day of Giving on Wednesday, June 2nd to celebrate the milestone and raise needed funds to ensure enhanced safety pre-cautions for the 2021 camp season.  In total, 65 donors contributed nearly $7,000 and unlocked more than $17,000 in challenge grants.  These funds, combined with donations received prior to June 2, total $31,482 and will be used to implement enhanced safety measures, improve operational efficiencies, and provide additional camperships for the 2021 camp season.

Thank you to everyone who contributed towards making the 2021 season the best yet.  The Arc of Essex County would also like to recognize the tremendous contributions of the Candle Lighters, Rock the 21, and Rabbi Erica and Mark Gerson (a former Camp Hope counselor) who made significant challenge grant contributions to the 65th Anniversary Day of Giving campaign, spurring others to follow their lead.

Still want to contribute? Donations continue to be accepted online at or via mail at 123 Naylon Avenue, Livingston, NJ 07039.
