Decking the Halls at The Arc of Essex County

November 30th, 2020

With fall festivities behind them, residents of The Arc of Essex County are excitedly getting ready for the holidays.  They kicked off the season by cranking up the holiday tunes and decorating their rooms and homes.

The Roseland group home threw timing to the wind and decorated their house and put up their Christmas tree well before Thanksgiving and continue to perfect their holiday cookie recipes.  The residents of the West Caldwell group home not only made sure the inside of their home was festive, but also decorated the outside of their home to spread cheer to their neighbors and community.  Meanwhile, all residents of The Arc of Essex County are busy planning their best ugly holiday sweater design in preparation for this month's ugly sweater decorating contest.

As the holidays approach, The  Arc’s Board is ready to join in on the fun.  On Sunday, December 6th, members of The Arc of Essex County’s Board of Directors will virtually carol during their annual Board Caroling event.  While celebrations look a bit different this year, happiness and joy continues to flourish.
