January 11th, 2019

On Thursday, January 10th Edward Bohon, his daughter Lilly, a Stepping Stones graduate and current College of New Jersey Career & Community Studies program participant, and their family presented Sue Brand, Principal and Director of Education and Early Childhood, with a $500 donation from Sokol-USA.  The funds will support the Stepping Stones School, a Department of Education Approved Private School for Students with Disabilities serving children ages 3-10.  Located in Roseland, NJ, the school is designed to meet the developmental and educational needs of children with cognitive impairments such as Down syndrome and other students with similar educational and developmental needs.

The Arc of Essex County thanks Sokol-USA and the Bohon family for their generosity and support.
