Wedgewood Group Home Residents Visit Broadway; Respite Group Home Hosts Backyard BBQ

August 26th, 2019

On Saturday, August 10th two of The Arc of Essex County’s Wedgewood Group Home residents took a trip to New York City to catch a showing of the world-renowned Lion King on Broadway. They thoroughly enjoyed the performance as well as taking in the sights at nearby Times Square.

Then, on Saturday, August 24th, the Crisis/Respite group home celebrated the completion of their recent backyard renovations by inviting their friends from the Bloomfield group homes and Branch Brook and Park Place supervised apartments over for a BBQ.  Residents and staff cooked up summer favorites including ziti and fresh Jersey corn while enjoying each other’s company and the warm weather.
