The Achievement Academy is a mobile, community-based program for consumers interested in strengthening their vocational skills in anticipation of becoming competitively employed in the community. Consumers in this program participate in occupational classes, volunteer activities and vocational preparation activities. Participants learn job, communication and social skills in community settings in order to improve their participation in the workforce. This program is designed for consumers who are committed to achieving and interested in becoming competitively employed in the future. Program partners include local businesses and community organizations such as Meals on Wheels and Chipotle Restaurant.
