Singers from the United Presbyterian Church of Lyndhurst visited The Arc of Essex County’s SYA Day Program in December, where program participants led their peers in a cheerful singalong session of holiday carols.
From Jingle Bells to Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree to Silent Night, three singers and a melodica player from United Presbyterian led a series of favorite holiday tunes, which the day program attendees thoroughly enjoyed. Many day program participants led their peers in singing at the front of the room, while others sang and toe-tapped along from their seats. In addition to their singing voices, many added to the festive musical sounds with the ringing of bells and tapping of tambourines. It was a festive and happy celebration, and The Arc thanks the carolers for their time and musical talents.
