On March 24, the Hanover Manor was filled with excitement and generosity as more than 250 people attended the “Baskets 4 Buddies” tricky tray and raffle event organized by The Candle Lighters. The Candle Lighters are a group of dedicated volunteers who raise funds and awareness for The Arc of Essex County’s Stepping Stones School and Early Intervention programs, which serve children with intellectual and developmental disabilities from birth to age 10.
The event offered more than 150 amazing prizes for guests to win, including Apple products, a pizza oven, a large-screen TV, a Cricut machine, designer handbags, beautiful jewelry, themed baskets, and much more. The event also included a tasty meal and plenty of opportunities for socializing and networking with other supporters of The Arc’s mission. Baskets 4 Buddies raised more than $30,000 for The Arc of Essex County’s programs that help children with developmental disabilities reach their full potential and thrive in their communities. The Arc of Essex County thanks The Candle Lighters and all of the volunteers and guests who contributed to this event and showed their love and support for the babies and children who attend Stepping Stones Early Intervention programs.
