Studio Arc Artists Make the Most of Summer

Studio Arc has been bustling with activity this summer, with studio visitors diving into everything from Zumba to garden harvests to jewelry making. August brought a focus on “unity in art,” where participants explored how colors, shapes, and lines come together to make a piece feel whole. It wasn’t just about technique, it was also a reminder of how much we can accomplish when we work together.

After planting an array of flowers and herbs in the spring, the Garden Club celebrated its first potato harvest in August. Meanwhile, the Crochet Club has been busy making potholders and gearing up for holiday crafting, with the team already planning gifts and decorations.

Jewelry makers from West Caldwell Hub and the Opportunity Zone have been learning new techniques with beads, wood, wire, and fiber. These sessions are helping artists build skills and think about how their work might be shared with the community. The Photography Club also had a productive summer, with members practicing portrait and garden photography and learning how to edit their shots. Everyone had fun posing and snapping photos.

With events like Girls Night In, Man Cave Monday, and more Crochet Club meetups on the horizon, plus the Entrepreneurship Club preparing new holiday line to sell, Studio Arc is keeping the momentum as the seasons begin to change.

Located on Passaic Avenue in Fairfield, Studio Arc provides visitors with opportunities to engage in a wide range of visual and creative arts classes.
