The Arc of Essex County is delighted to announce several recent contributions that are making a meaningful impact for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our community.
We are grateful to the Novartis US Foundation for their generous grant of $8,000. This funding is designated to support telemedicine service fees for Arc group homes, ensuring that residents continue to receive high-quality medical care and support through accessible technology. This grant helps bridge the gap for individuals who may face barriers to in-person healthcare, promoting their well-being and independence.
We also extend our heartfelt thanks to the following councils of the Knights of Columbus for their recent donations:
- Our Lady of the Mountains Council #3533: $1,550
- Cedar Grove/Verona Council #3632: $1,200
- Caldwell Council #2561: $946.80
These contributions will directly support Arc programs, helping us continue our mission of advocacy, education, and enrichment for individuals and families in our community.
The Arc extends sincere appreciation to the Novartis US Foundation and the Knights of Columbus councils for their ongoing partnership and generosity. Their support ensures that vital programs and services remain accessible, and together, we are building a stronger, more inclusive community for people with IDD.
