The spooky season was in full force at The Arc of Essex County’s residential programs, who enjoyed Halloween celebrations as well as other autumn activities:

  • The Verona Apartment and Belleville Group Home programs met up for a dinner out at a restaurant together.
  • The Beechtree Group Home enjoyed an “Paint and Sip” activity outside on their back deck during a beautiful autumn day.
  • Verona Apartments residents went to the Verona Township Canteen Night, and took trips to the local park, the mall, and the ice cream shop.
  • The Girls’ Night In gathering at Studio Arc drew women from across The Arc’s group homes together to paint spooky ghost and pumpkin decorations together.
  • Belleville Group Home residents went to a “Clash for the Crusaders” Independent Superstars of Pro Wrestling event.
  • A costume Halloween party for Man Cave Monday at Studio Arc brought together men from across The Arc’s residential programs for games, food, and karaoke.
  • Bloomfield Group Home residents visited a Trunk or Treat event hosted by the Montclair Police Department.
  • The Linden Apartment Program residents gathered in their Halloween costumes and enjoyed an assortment of homemade healthy Halloween treats, such as monster apples, ghost bananas, and “pumpkin” oranges.
