Grant Support Strengthens Residential and Employment Services

The Arc of Essex County is pleased to announce two recent grants that will help strengthen residential and employment support services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The Flagstar Foundation has approved a grant in the amount of $25,000 to support the cost of a Jobs Club Supervisor. The funds will help advance vocational training and employment readiness opportunities for program participants. Through Jobs Club, individuals build workplace skills, gain hands-on experience, and work toward greater independence and community inclusion.

In addition, the John A. and Margaret Post Foundation has awarded $18,900 to support bathroom renovations at the Nutley Group Home. The project will enhance accessibility, safety, and comfort for residents, helping to ensure a supportive living environment that meets their evolving needs.

The Arc of Essex County extends its sincere appreciation to both the Flagstar Foundation and the John A. and Margaret Post Foundation for their generosity and commitment to improving the lives of the individuals we serve. Their support helps make meaningful investments in programs and facilities that empower people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to achieve their fullest potential and live with dignity and inclusion.
