The school year may be winding down, but Stepping Stones School has continued to bustle through the spring as students and families have enjoyed special events that brought our community together and created lasting memories.
A highlight of the month was Family Fun Day, sponsored by the Candle Lighters. Families gathered in the multi-purpose room for an afternoon of food and entertainment together. Everyone enjoyed delicious fresh pizza from a food truck, and the karaoke machine quickly became a favorite attraction as students, siblings, parents, and staff took turns singing their favorite songs.
Students also enjoyed a field trip to Huckle Berry Indoor Playground. From the moment the classes arrived, the children were thrilled to see the large digital screen welcoming them into the building. The excitement continued as they explored all the different play areas, with the ball pit and slides quickly becoming the favorite attractions. Students spent plenty of time climbing, balancing, tossing balls to one another, and laughing as they slid into the ball pit. They also had a wonderful time exploring the play market, dress-up room, and salon area. Throughout the trip, the children did an amazing job sharing toys, taking turns, and encouraging one another as they explored.
Looking ahead, students and staff are eagerly preparing for the graduation and moving-up ceremony. This year, several of our Primary Plus students will be graduating out of Stepping Stones and beginning exciting adventures at their new schools this fall. We look forward to celebrating their achievements and honoring this important milestone during our ceremony later this month.
