It is with great sadness that The Arc of Essex County announces the passing of Harris Chernin, who died on April 27 at the age of 74. Born on April 18, 1952, Harris was a longtime member of The Arc family. He lived at the Bloomfield Group Home for more than two decades, beginning in 2002, before moving to the Belmont Group Home in 2025.
