Recreation Group Travels Far and Wide for Adventure

March was a busy month for participants in The Arc of Essex County’s Community Inclusion recreation program as they traveled to the Liberty Science Center, Mount Airy Casino, and SeaQuest Aquarium, and also took part in a Zumba class at Studio Arc.

On March 5, the group visited the Liberty Science Center, where they explored a variety of interactive exhibits, such as Pixel Art, the “Dream Machine” sensory adventure, Energy Quest, Skyscrapers, and more.

The following weekend, participants headed to the Poconos on March 12, where they visited Mount Airy Casino for a trip that is always a crowd favorite. The group enjoyed the slots and the casino’s buffet.

On March 19, it was off to SeaQuest aquarium in Woodbridge, where the group adventured through rainforests, deserts, and the depths of the sea as they interacted with animals from around the world.

And on March 26 the group stayed closer to home, dancing to a Zumba fitness class at Studio Arc.
