Located on six acres in East Hanover, Camp Hope is a summer day camp for children and adults with autism, Down syndrome, and other intellectual and developmental disabilities. Paid positions include lifeguard, camp counselor, 1:1 behavioral counselor, and activity specialists, and require a full seven-week commitment. The Thomas and Agnes Carvel Foundation awarded a grant of $7,000 for Camp Hope, which will go toward general support of the 2022 camp season. The William E. The Arc’s adult recreation activities included an Easter Brunch, complete with egg coloring, crafts, and treats.
